The 2020 Coop FIS Cross Country Ski World Cup Sprint Finals (featuring some of the best skiers in the world) will be taking place March 17th, 2020 at Theodore Wirth Park. This is the first world cup event to be held on U.S. soil in 18 years and a fantastic opportunity to get to see some incredible skiers race! The Loppet Foundation will be selecting volunteers so submit your name soon if you want the opportunity to be a part of this once in a lifetime event!
For the last 13 years, the team has groomed trails on the high school property that are free and open to the public. Maintenance on these trails is done by a volunteer using the team's snow machine and grooming equipment. Our snow machine is very old and so we are attempting to purchase a new one. This machine will cost $5000. We are also hoping to purchase a new grooming attachment if possible which would cost another $5000. We are asking for donations to help with this expense. The coaching staff will be matching the first $500 donated. Thank you in advance for your support!
